Zero Trust Privacy Concept

VI8 is designed with privacy as the core principle. The "Zero Trust" model means that the app operates on the assumption that no server, including ours, should be trusted with your personal data unnecessarily.

Local Processing First

All AI analysis, wellness summaries, and transcriptions are executed locally using on-device models. Your raw goals, records, and thoughts never leave your phone for processing.

Data Storage and Backup

• Local Storage: By default, all data is stored securely in your device's local database.
• Optional Cloud Backup: If you choose to sign in using Google or Apple, your encrypted backup data will be securely synced via Apple CloudKit. This enables data recovery across devices.

Third-Party Services

We use the following services with strict privacy constraints:

• Google AdMob: For users on the free tier, non-personalized or personalized ads tracking might be shown depending on your iOS prompt consent. Upgrading to VI8 Pro removes all advertisements.
• Apple StoreKit: To process secure transactions for VI8 Pro. We do not receive your payment details.
